When I first saw this spider in a book it looked pretty weird to me. It looked more like bird poop than a spider! So then I got the idea to put this weird animal on my website.
It is classified as one of the weirdest animals because, as a defense tactic, it looks like bird poop so no other creature wants to eat it. Who wants to eat that!
This tactic also helps when the spider is hunting. It can sneak up on insects without being spotted as a spider.
